Installation description

With version 2.1 of Fundanemt we now have an installation script included. This should make the installation process as painless as possible. Before starting the installation program, please have the following information ready:

• database user
• database password
• database name (if it does not exist, then it will be created)

Installation process
When you have downloaded the fundanemt core file, then you unpack it into the root of where the hompage should be.

E.g if you have /var/www/html/ as you web-root, then you should unpack fundanemt in this folder.
you should then end up with:
/var/www/html/fundanemt

To ease the job for the installer and yourself, then please change the write access on the web-root folder to give writeaccess to everyone (on linux/unix this is achieved with chmod 0777 /var/www/html if your webroot is /var/www/html).

Now go to:
http://www.yoursite.com/fundanemt/install/
and follow the instructions from there (change www.yoursite.com to the hostname where fundanemt is installed).
Make sure you read and do everything that the text in the install says

The installer creates the needed tables in the database (and even creates the database if it does not exist and you have a user with the right permissions). It also creates the configuration files from some options you can choose from. Last but not least, it creates the first template for your site.

REMEMBER to change the write permissions of the web-root after installation if you changed them at an earlier stage of the installation.

As it is now, you can't rename the folder in which fundanemt core system resides.
